LOS ANGELES – Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux spent Valentine’s Day 2018 together before they announced that they are officially calling it quits. The couple has been together for less than three years since their marriage in 2015 when they decided to call the relationship off.
Jennifer Aniston, 49, and her husband Justin Theroux, 46, revealed in an official statement a day after Valentine’s day that they are officially separating.
According to the couple, the decision to split up was mutual. Also, they have made clear that they have been separated since the end of 2017. The two got married at their home in Los Angeles in a top-secret wedding on August 5, 2015 after their engagement in August 2012.
The said top-secret nuptial was attended by some of the biggest stars in Hollywood such as Ellen DeGeneres, Sandra Bullock, and Howard Stern, to name a few.
According to reports, the couple has already been living separately for several months before deciding to announce their split. Justin Theroux resides in New York alone, and he flew back to Los Angeles on Valentine’s Day to meet-up with his ex-wife.
Reports assume that the couple finally decided during the holiday to unravel the real score about their relationship. Moreover, Justin Theroux wanted to make the announcement formal so he could move on with his life.
The couple’s separation announcement was released to reduce and put a halt to any speculations about the relationship. Even though the two ended their marriage, the couple expressed that their decision was mutual and that they have remained best of friends.
Though they have parted ways as a married couple, the two are still looking forward to a fruitful friendship ahead. The ex-couple also expressed that they are to maintain their deep respect and love for each other, so other negative speculations and news that do not come from them will not be true in any form.
There is no other concrete reason as to why the couple put a stop to their relationship. They just assured the public, especially their fans, that their decision to split was mutual and lovingly made. The couple was stern to confess that they do not have any ill feelings for each other following the said break up.
After almost ten years of being together as an engaged and married couple, the two would want to concentrate on their cherished friendship and flourish as own individuals.
