The Rock’s Daughter, to Follow Father’s Pro Wrestling Career

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – The eldest daughter of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Simone Garcia Johnson expressed her great passion for Pro wrestling and even wants to be part of it in the future.

The Rock and his family have been a deep-rooted to the pro wrestling business for quite a long time. It started in the 1960s with his grandfather Peter Maiva, a legendary professional wrestler best known as High Chief. The Rock’s father, Rocky Johnson was also a pro wrestler since 1966 but is now retired, famously known as the “Soul Man.”

The Rock is the third generation of the Maiva-Johnson professional wrestler family who started his career in 1996. He was dubbed as “The People’s Champion,” “The Great One,” and “The Most Electrifying Man in All of the Entertainment.” The family is the first ever third-generation superstar in the history of WWE. But, it seems that they will soon be the fourth-generation of pro wrestlers.

The Rock is a father of two daughters and his eldest has always been open to her love and passion for professional wrestling, especially to women pro wrestling. She even made her ambitions of becoming another Johnson to hit the WWE ring public.

Recently, the 16-year old Simone debuted her new role as the Golden Globes Ambassador for 2018 for its 7th anniversary in January. The position was known as the Mr. or Miss Golden Globes before. Simone said that she was lucky to grow up having strong role models and she is honored to be given the role.

During her interview, she was also asked about the sport that she loves. Simone said that she finds a profound amount of passion with every move in the sport and that is what she sees admirable about it. She even added that after graduating with a business degree, she hopes to pursue having a wrestling career next to her long family WWE history, just like her father, The Rock.
